Not bad, but the construct is that of someone whose primary language isn't english.

Now that I know you are in the US, it makes things even easier.

Could be as simple as low fluid, or a sticking shifing solenoid, or more expensive.

You really need to go to an independent mechanic who specializes in VW/Audi and who will have the correct diagnostic equipment. .

Thank you very much.

Today mechanic would rather persuade you into changing whole part than seriouly diaganizing it cos the one who will pay for the bill is the comstumer instead of himself. In addition, in this way they could make more money and get a easier job done. That's why it is difficult to find a way to "save" my sweet heart. Last time I met a mechanic who specilizes in European cars wanted to charge me $100 for clear one trouble code. Crazy man, huh.

Anyway, I will trymy best to follow your advices. And I will post any progress here for other persons' reference. Thanks again.

You can try to find someone locally who has a vagcom. Use the vagcom locator link in the helpful links section of the forum.

He may be able to run some diagnostics for you. The price of borrowing a vagcom is usually beer.

your sub frame that the tranny sits on is most likely bent and when you sift into third like some early was saying your torque is so much high in this gear your feeling your sub frame shimmy. just my guess!
