yeah thats total bullsh!t. if he doesn't honor the warranty, just keep going from boss to boss. give AOA a call and tell them what the dealership is trying to pull, and you'll most likely get your problem taken care of. if not, then BBB.

Do something along the lines of what I had to do, only if it comes down to that. The clutch is part of the drivetrain, and should definitely be under warrantee. I would see if they can set you up in a complimentary dealership rental while your car sits undriveable at their lot (since they will definitely be doing the repair for you....cough, cough)

Ira SUCKS! Don't ever buy a car from them, let alone an Audi! Their techs don't know jack, I had a friend buy an Accord from them and when he brought it in for its 25k maintenance, they replaced the entire air box instead of just the filter, and tried to tell him it was broken without actually showing him beforehand or giving him the 'broken' one back! If you can take it down to the South Shore, have the guys at Rietzl Audi in Norwell check it out. They kick ***

^in some circumstances yes, but with this one, its a manufacturer's defect and they have to replace it. there's a crapload of laws to back your case
