Default help with airbag code please

Hey guys, so finally got one! phew. But i don't understand why it would have come on!!!! I left my car outside for one night at my gfriends house and the temp dropped down to -20...battery was low but car started. I heard a beep and boom AIRBAG light came on I did a search and said vag should reset it...wtf

yea, you should be able to just reset the code...

its easy, just clear the code, they rent diagnostic eqip at autozone, clear it, and if comes back, then take it to a certified audi mech...

low battery caused the code to rest it ( disconnect battery ground then put key in ignition and switch it on ) now reconnect battery ground and see if the SRS/ airbag light has gone off

When I disconnect the negative battery terminal will this not reset everything? As in will I have to reset the idle and throttle body adjustment?

if the battery runs low like that and the airbag light wasn't on before that happened then it should reset if not then it has a fault, every time you start your car it goes through a drive cycle which sets everything up depending on how you drive so if you drive hard all the time it will set this way but if you let old Granny drive and she drives slow it will reset to that

I have anIDENTICAL problem with my allroad and I found somebody with an A6 that had the same problem.Do the airbagcontrol modulesdie at 20 degrees F?

My mechanic said the control module probly got moisture in the solenoid when it got that cold and warmed up...
