Help! A4 lost oil pressure!
So today I am driving my 03 A4 1.8t at around 75-80 mph on the highway. As I am approaching my exit, I hear an audible warning, and look at the screen in the middle of my gauge cluster. The oil pan emblem and word "oil!" were flashing. I looked in the rear view to see greyish white smoke. Luckily I live 2 blocks off the highway, so I was able to basically coast her home. I shut her off, got out and looked under the car to see oil pouring from the engine compartment. The drain plug was still on, and the oil was coming from above the oil pan anyway. I didn't have the time to jack it up and start looking around. The car has a little over 44k miles on it, I was a little late getting it in for the 40k service, I got it in around 42k. The car ran fine prior to losing the oil, I was coming home from my girlfriend's house about 15 miles away and there were no problems. Any ideas? I plan to have it flatbedded to the dealer tomorrow morning when I get home from work.

Also, I looked at the turbo charger, there are 2 lines going into the top of it, I assume that one is oil, and one is coolant, they were both on with no evidence of leakage. I was not able to look at the oil return.

Do not restart the car. Could be oil line, could be oil cooler, or could be that the oil filter was loose or the old gastket was stuck in place when the filter was used. Anything punch a hole in your pan?
Find out what it is and save any parts.

Don't worry, I'm not gonna start her up with no oil in it. I didn' think to check the oil filter, but I have been busy all day and didn't have time to do much other than look under the car and look under the hood. When I looked under the car, I couldn't see any damage to the oil pan. I was driving on a flat paved road with no debri and there wasn't anyone in front of me, so I don't think anything punctured the pan. I'll be calling Audi Roadside Assistance when I get outta work in the morning and having it towed to the dealership. Hopefully I didn't break anything that isn't covered under warranty.
