hear a hum in my A4 quattro

Default hear a hum in my A4 quattro
had bearings checked...no play. Sometimes hear a clunking in reverse...only when I hit it hard...no clunk if I ease into it. Don't know if it's connected.

Does the hum get louder as you go faster? How old are your tires?
