Headunit+Factory B5 Rear Deck = (Pics)
When I got my car I immediately got an aftermarket headunit (4ohm, pretty standard stuff), and everybody knows the whole rear speakers being seperately amplified blah blah blah. Anyway, I finally decided to run wire back there instead of splicing and soldering them up, well, I think the speakers were 2ohm or something because here is what I found after investigating a crappy sounding speaker after playing them for less than a minute. lol the pictures speak for themselves I suppose. Extremely sorry about the big pictures! Anyway for your own entertainment....
(Who knows if they were already disintegrating under there but they pretty much exploded haha. No worries though they were replaced with some Polk Audio db650's and it sounds GREAT!?
