oem HID/xenon are projectors too just so you know. You mean halogen.

No you can't just put ds2 bulbs in and expect them to work. They require ballasts and ignitors to funtion. They operate nothing like normal light bulbs.

I bought my rs6 kit from ebay for around 200 bucks. That is very cheap and you'll find it difficult to pay much less than 300. http://www.oemhid will show you what is involved in retrofitting.
