okay. I previously had bought a used headlamp to replace on of mine due to a crack. Though the one i replaced it with was noticably more cloudy and scratched. Do u think its a good idea to sand it down. Has anyone tried this technique before? and tips well be appreciated.Thanks?

 

I used tooth paste with a soft cotton rag. Rub it hard by hand.

 

I personally have done this several times to several vehicles. I use TurtleWax white rubbing compound, apply with a dampcloth, spread on nice thin layer. Let dry, then buff headlight with an electric buffer, the longer you buff, the better it will look.
