Headlight Bulb Replacement

Headlight Bulb Replacement
My right headlight is out and I don't want to take it to the dealer to get a new bulb put in. I figured it can't be that hard of a job to do, but I don't know what type of bulbs I should buy or how to remove the bulbs from the lamp. Any help would be much appreciated. My car is a 2001.5 1.8TM.

RE: Headlight Bulb Replacement
I would just buy them and put it on myself. Is it both bulbs or just one? It's usually easier
to do the one in the driver side but as for the passenger side, you'll probably have to remove
the air filter to do it. Depends on how small or big your hand is I believe the bulbs are
H7 and you can probably get them at some aftermarket shops or try at the local parts store.
If you want the good ones, go to the dealer and buy them and install it for yourself.

if u'r confused just look in the owner's manual...in the do it yourself section...
it's explained in detail there...also u can buy the bulbs from u'r local walmart...
just make sure to check the little electronic thing they have there to help
u figure out what kind of a bulb u need...but like these guys said...it's probably
a H7...just be sure to check...dont waste u'r money on the dealer...

RE: Headlight Bulb Replacement
nobody mentioned not to touch the bulb with your fingers cuz it can blow up when lit from finger oils....phrase of the day..finger oils.use a piece of paper towell when installing.actually miabhai did say more detail in manual.but if you dont have one it's good to know.igot the phillips blue and like them better than sylvania.
