I agree - my friend recommended them to me and they seemed to double the brightness of my headlights.

Anybody try the PIAA replacements?

I blew a front lowbeam and these were recommended to me.

I put in the silverstars, they are in my sig picture with the regular halogen fogs. VERY slight difference, even when it's just low beams. Almost same as stock. My buddy had the PIAA super white whatever-ya-call em's in his mazda, and they were much whiter and brighter it seemed - but they were also like 70 bucks.

Bought the PIAA's at lunchtime. Yeah, $75 but what the hell, it's only money! I'll install them this evening if I can dodge the snowstorm here in Chicago......uh-oh....looked outside....too late!!

i had OEMs...replaced them with the silverstars...they were definitely brighter...i mean it wasnt like hid but it was a cleaner white....so a few weeks ago i blew one...just short of having them for a year...sent it back to sylvania..and they sent me TWO brand new ones....:-D...so id say go with the silverstars if ur not looking to spen upwards of like 40
