Default Headlamp washers

Mine don't work... I checked the fuse, it didn't seem burnt, but i switched it with a vacant fuse and it didn't fix it, so i switched it back, and now am stuck. I have a '98 A4 1.8T, anyone have similar troubles or know how to fix it?

Have somebody else pull the trigger and see it those things lift up at all. Also check the windshield washer level because they are activated by water pressure and when there is not enough pressure they wont work.

i dont know them, never heard of that problem. since headlight washers are activated by water pressure there is no water going there at all, so it might be a ruptured line or something...

In case you did not know...

The headlights have to be on for the headlight washers to work. Once the headlights are on pull the wiper stalk like you normally would and all should be fine.

You will see the spray come up from the headlights since it is pretty high pressure.

Also, headlight washer failure is a COMMON problem...bring it to the dealer if all else fails.

ya i have the same problem, i also have a 98 a4 1.8 t and the headlamp washers burned out on me, i was using them one day and they just did not pop up. I think the motor is bad, because i hear them do something, like as if they pop up, but they don't, and they don 't even spray the solution, so...

any solutions...
