Default H&R Sports on stock sport struts

Ok so I am on tirerack waiting to order the H&R sport springs right now, but still a little iffy on how they will perform with the stock sport shocks. They only lower 1.5"s at the most, so I am thinking the stock shocks would be decent for a quite a while. Any one currently running this set up? I've searched a bunch and never get a real good answer. I want these springs on and wheel gap gone ASAP.

comfort, how many miles were on your shocks before you put the new springs on? and they were definitely stock sport shocks or just stock non-sports?

The thing is I have researched this on like 6 different forums and some say the shocks will blow right away, others have had theres on for tens of thousands of miles and still running fine. I think I might just go for it and then upgrade to coilovers at a later date.

depends on the shocks current condition. it just makes them go bad at a faster rate. so if you have ageing shocks they will go bad right away and if you have newer ones, they may last you awhile longer. Either change everything now or wait and get coilovers later.

my stock shocks had 93k on them when i put my tein s-tech's on. thats a race spring, and i have had them on my stock shocks now for about 6 months and have had no problem's. im just getting around to getting aftermarket ones
