GTech 1/4 mile times
So i have this redneck friend from maryland where i use to live and he has a 90ish notchback 5.0 mustang and has done quite a bit of work too. He has kept his budget fairly tight for the car and wanted the most hp for the least amount of money and always wants to know his 1/4 mile time without going to the track which is a hike away. So he bought a Gtech which is sold on ebay for 40 bucks plus shipping for the basic model and it tells you your cars 1/4 mile time buy measuring G-forces. So he bought the Gtech and read the instructions how to set it up and gave it a run and measured a 1/4 mile time of 13.67 and gtech gauranties it to be within + or - 1/10th of a second. This past weekend at MIR they had this ford mustang drag comp thing and ran a 13.77. I am fairly impressed and know that it works since he is a friend of mine and my other friend that has it reccomended it to him. To say the least im buying mine tommorrow and will post some gtech runs with my mods because the nearest strip is 100+ miles away. Here is a link for those who are interested Gtech

Im not sure if you could put it there but i know that it is pretty much like a radar detector, it just plugs into the ciggarette lighter and mounts on the windshield, once your done, take it out and put it in the garage or where ever you want.
SlimChriz: My mods so far are GIAC chip, evo intake, Forge 007 DV, V&S Short Shifter, VDO Boost gauge with my mounting plate thing i made, kinda like overspuns but its not the shinny plastic its dull and matches the rest of the vents. I'm buying this guys milltek catback exhaust this week, actually today if he takes my second offer. I was going to do suspension but im getting the exhaust kinda cheap so i couldn't pass it up, suspension sounds like a good christmas present. Gotta love the visa santa.

I have the GtechI and I used to use it with my MustangGT. I would recommend you buy the Gtech II (PRO) for 50 to 70$ more. read about them you will know what I mean.
Also one bad thing about the gtech is that it makes you see every straigh away as a dragstrip on city streets.bad for public safety and your insurance
