AWE tuning has a 'GT28R' turbo kit that bolts to stock exhaust manifold. It claims to produce a repeatable 290hp and 280 tq at the crank on 93 gas (with FMI and exhaust). That is just 50hp less than the full blown Stage 3+. The big selling point to B6ers is the fact the motor doesnt need stronger rods or any other mods other than a new clutchto be reliable.

Ya its probably not worth the total cost for just 300hp at the crank. It mayfeel better at first, but then you will wish you had more power. If your looking at a BT set up, go big or go home.

no, he wasn't talking about an ATP eliminator. he's talking about AWE's GT28r kit that is only available to B6'ers.. and a kit that i would really recomend to people that want a bit more pep over a ko4 setup but don't want a race car feel

we could all probably help you better if you tell us exactly what you want as far as hp or track goals, and the price range you have to spend...

oohhh the good old adapter plate method

trade offs, possible warping and blown gaskets for a better housing

You so could get a t3t4 50trim or t3 60 setup for less and be much more reliable and powerful
