Well i just finihed the grill and i must say im really impressed with how well it came out. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to sand and i put about 3 -4 coats of paint on over 2 days.

 

Holy **** that's sexy. Props for keeping the Quattro logo on.

 

looks good got any pics on the car? iam thinkin about doing this. i did the outer chrome ring but havent done the audi rings yet.

 

looks sexy. i did mine all black originally, but then switched it back to chrome. what paint did you use?

 

i used flat black duplicolour paint that is ment to patch up bumpers. i will get pics on the car tomorrow since its raining now and havent been able to install it, im lucky ciase if i want the crome rings i have an extra set off another grill thats why i went all black to start with

 

That's exactly what I did on my car too (except I removed the quattro badge - didn't think it looked right on there). It took me a couple days to get used to seeing it that way, but once I did, I loved it. It just kind of sleeks out the look of the front of the car IMO. Nice work!

 

i didnt paint my rings, too much black wont contrast well lol.

im gonna post a new thread on saterday since im not going to install the grill until after i wax and detail the car for the winter so saterday night i should have some nice pictures up for eveyone to see
