Is this a good deal? No Sports Package.
Guys, I am new in this forum. I made an offer for an Audi A4, manual, 2005.5 (new body). Sale by owner (no dealer involved). Car apparently is in very good condition. Details are below. Two questions:
1) If car has standard wheels, is that a 16'? I see car has no 'sports package' what makes me believe that special alloy wheels is not there.
2) Do you think if I get the car below for $23,000 I will be making a good deal?
2005.5 Audi A4 2.0T AWD Quattro
6 speed manual
20K miles
dealer installed spoiler
premium package w/black leather interior
sunroof
homelink garage door opener
heated front & back seats
dual climate control
power driver/passenger front seats w/4 memory settings
bi-xenon headlights
moisture sensing wipers
electrochromatic rear view mirror
walnut wood trim
compact CD player
front and rear side airbags

Most of those things are pretty standard for that car. But yea, 23k for an 05 with only 20k miles. I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Ha, just make sure the engine checks out . I got to learn the hard way to do that.
Look at it this way. If the car only had 1k on it. You'd be paying a little over 1k to buy it.
Ha, I know that's not really how it works. But, it's a good way of seeing things. Here's another thing. I just got an 02 with 55k miles for 13k. *shrugs* I've seen other 05s with the same miles as the one I got for about 17k.

1. The original wheels that come with that car are 17 inch, 5 star alloys.
2. Check Kelley Blue Book. That seems like a pretty good deal. You can always bargain too! The most important thing is that you like it. If you do, its a good deal
3. Make sure the vehicles history checks out, accidents, engine, etc. CARFAX
4. Whenever buying aused audi, or any used car for that matter, you should get it professionally checked prior to purchase if not under warrantee. Also, if the car is not under warrantee, be prepared to pay for issues. Audis are not cheap to maintain.
5. I have this car. It is awesome. You wont be dissapointed!
