a little tip for people, if you look where the tq peaks, thats roughly where full boost hits.

Thanks so far guys I am going to turbo my ride, but I still need to find the right turbo and I still need help picking and finding parts for sale. Also, nobody mentioned any good places to buy this stuff, do I have to go into a local shop to get them to order it or can I find this stuff elsewhere? Are there any kits that would come with everything? Like a full setup with injectors, manifold, turbo, gaskets, exhaust and chip?

As far as the turbo goes, I was only going with a GTRS elim because I want about 300hp, don't want to much more as anything higher means cost goes up and reliability goes down. I want reliability! But since I'm not going for huge numbers, the other turbo is sounding good as the boost kicks in earlier (meaning much better 0-60). Where can I find that kit (t3s60 or t3t4 50trim kit OR GT28R or whatever it was). Can I find a full out kit for about the same price or is it like way more.

Here's what I was looking to spend
Exhaust 1000
Turbo Kit w/ Manifold injectors 1700
chip 500
other needed stuff + labour - who knows $$$

If its gonna be way more I'd start thinking about trading up for an s4 and just chipping that. I just want something fun that I don't have to worry about or sink all my $$$ into

as for exhaust you should probably do a full 3' custom with the bigger turbo, and two mufflers borlas sound good

ORIGINAL: cincyTT

all they did was take the mold atp was using and started to cast it themselves. You can only have a patent for so long.. LOL.

You can get the cast manifold for about $150 (atp is $400)
turbo - $625 for a 50trim or $725 for a internally gated t3s60
tial 38mm wastegate for 50trim or extrenally gated t3s60 $200
dp - $400 from atp or custom for $250
oil lines $150
injectors $200-300
fuel pump $125
sw $700-900
misc bolts and hardware $50

so thats roughly $2400-2800
So it looks like T3/T4 or t3s60 is a better idea then the elim, which I'm cool with. But since I don't know much about putting all the bits together I'm looking for a place that would sell all this as a package? Do I have to buy everything seperate and risk buying the wrong stuff? When I do a search for this stuff not a lot comes up

atpturbo.com, himni-racing.com, usrallyteam.com, and pagparts.com will have everything you need. If you need help sourcing parts, let me know.

As for a turbo, the t3s60 will hit full boost around 3k and make over 300hp and the t3t4 50trim with a .48 turbine will spool a little later but make tons of power. It will make the same power as a t3s60 with about 6psi less. As for reliability, with good sw, turbo, and injectors, you shouldnt have a problem.
