I know this topic is being killed but im having my car chipped fairly soon and there are only 2 places where i live that offer tuning.

Both charge about the same $550 cad.

Which software manufacturer should i go with. Ive know everyone on here perfers GIAC, but ive never heard of Wetterauer. This company AutoBraun who has been ecu tunning for 10 years claims its the best and better than GIAC.

What are the thoughts

Everything ive heard...GIAC. The only way.

 

GIAC its less expensive and just as good or better in every way

 

Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, with the GIAC you still have room for a turbo upgrade, I don't think apr or some of the others give you that option.

 

wetterauer has a k04 chip i think... so does apr, and others.

 

My fault, for whatever reason I thought that was at least one of the diffs btw APR and GIAC. I bow down to the masters. lol.

Infact the company is charging less for the Wetteraurer flash that GIAC.

GIAC is better than APR and most people have GIAC... if wetterauer was better than GIAC then everyone would go with them. I have had Apr (weaksauce) giac (less weaksauce) giac is fun, apr is comfortable. go GIAC...
