My 2001 b5 has revo, I love it. Although never having driven with giac it is hard to say what diffrence there is if any. (to me as a driver not on paper)

I think the adjetive youre looking for is "well improved" and not "massive." 50 hpis nice, but certainly not massive compared to other more expensive alternatives. Im not sure what kind of waranty your talking about, or who may had lied to you, but a chip will void your factory waranty if detected by the dealer.

Guess you gotta ask yourself whats more important......

Reliability (GIAC)
-or-
Power (APR)

Reguardless the 1/4 mile times for both are close to identicle.

I've had both and this is just my opinion.

Never experience Revo so give it a shot.

That makes absolutely no sense (no offense man). They both give about identical power gains and reliablity. Power is just delivered differently. What you have to ask yourself is "Do I want a powerband that is more aggressive down low?" or "Do I want a powerband that is broader and more drawn out?" That is the best way to describe the difference between GIAC and APR. I have driven a b5 with APR, and obviously one with GIAC.

apr says that warrenty is not 100% voided theyre are loop holes ex: lests say your power seats are broken audi would have to proove that youre power seats are broken because of the chip etc i found out about this by accident.
we purchased our ML350 from the autobarn they advertiesed it with a spare long story short they paid for the spare no hastle and i had to look for went to the nissan parts place later the vw parts here i saw giac decasl apr decals and a huge k & n cone i asked about the tunning they told me ofcoure warrenty stays and fianaly mazda had the key
