I am looking to buy a used chip from someone, we both have b6 1.8Tq's, but his is manual and mine is the tiptronic, can I use his chip in my car? Is there something i need to do to it so I can use it? I am getting a good price so i would like to get it. Also I have VAG-COM so maybe there is something i can change with that so i can utilize it in my car? Let me know what i can do.

 

also if anyone has an automatic chip they could tell me the model number of that would also be helpful, or if you are looking to sell.
