Default GIAC chip installed today and I have a question

Well I got my computer back from AWE today and I love it, it pulls very hard, my dv valve is now loud as hell, I'm now boosting at 15 and sometimes 17psi. BUt my only concern is now my turbo doesn't kicks in until 3800 rpm and feel kind of laggy until it hits 3800 rpm and thats when the car throws me into my seat, but before I had the chip the turbo would kick in at 3000 rpm and didn't feel laggy but now of course the car is much faster now but I just have to wait until at least 3800 rpm to really feel the power from the chip, Is this normal for the GIAC chip or is something wrong that need to looked into??????

I definitely noticed increased lag with my APR chip. 3,800 rpm sounds right to me. Unfortunately more boost typucally means more lag.

yeah there is slightly more lag - you will get accustomed to it over time and soon you will not even notice it.

well I guess I should say 3800 is when I really feel the power but between 1000-3500rpm is when the car feels very laggy but after 3800rpm the car is a monster, but other than that I love the GIAC chip and will never regret it

I am hearing about all of these chips and I was just wondering how much hp your chip is boosting you.

GIAC and APR claim 200 HP and 243 ft/lbs torque for most years
