I dont like the fact that GIAC is ignoring us 2000 guys by not giving us a flashloader program [:'(][:'(][:'(][:'(]

have anyone heard of the X chip by GiAC this shop told me its a 1.3 bar chip which gives an extra 20hp than the regular 1 bar chip and requires a front mount and 100 octane gas, anyone heard of or know anything about this

I'm going with the APR for mostly one reason, driveability. I've seen some posts here where the GIAC creates some driving quirks and I bought an Audi for its driveability, it's important to me that I don't lose any degree of it. If it means a few less ponies and torque then so be it, I don't need the F1 car driving feel, but it's my preference.

i was told by my installer that they used the X-chip on my vehicle and i assume they did because i peak around 19-20 psi and hold steady @ 17-18 when i am in 3rd or 4th gear.

if anyone could inform me of how i can tell exactly which chip they used that would be great.

i guess it will be printed on top of the chip in the ecu?
