Wait a minute...what is ice wine anyway? Is that like those Bacardi Breezer girlie drinks? I only drink crappy beer.
No, its really freakin expensive wine that is thick and tastes like candy... They squeeze the juice from frozen grapes so only cetain elements of the grape are used to make the wine, which makes it taste the way it does.. I think.. We got it when we wet to Niagara Falls like two years ago. Its potent shat.

I'd like to bring this back up to hear about the Ice Wine.

And did we find anything out about getting GIAC updates?
I just wasted 20 minutes reading all of this. I'm not going to search for another thread about it.

onepoint8tee, you are a saint. i woulda smacked this add. just say the audi dealers install giac (ie suncoast audi in florida). that answers reliability q's. any hp differences are offset by torque and driving skills (and beating civics doesn't count. adding 3% hp to 120hp w/an exhaust, so what?) so, unless you're starting to race @60mph, that hp doesn't really help. the giac allows for the next non-huge turbo upgrade. how many more points do you need for the giac? also, having grown up just outside of niagara falls, i have no idea what the alcoholic beverage is to which you refer. we just went to canada and drank real beer. god i miss molson, but small price to pay for sunshine.

Pretty simple.... Contact your nearest GIAC dealer to see if there is an update available.

deadly thread guys!!!honestly, i've cost my work $X,000 in O/T for me to research what chip is better haha.

Only thing that still ponders my mind are the CEL's as I have an '01 and they seem to be a lot more finicky. What have the guys with '01 had to replace to keep their car running in tiptop shape...

GIAC-X is the obvious way to go IF you have an '01, I'm assuming they've worked out all the quirks with the dbw bullshit?
