My friend needs to pick up a new or used gauge cluster, how do you change the millage so it reads what it should?

is he gonna get one off ebay or someone parting out or something? if so just have him take pictures of his mileage and date it and document the switch. I know this kind of thing can be borderline illegal when messing with mileage etc. why is he getting a new one?

btw: the ecodes are sweet w/ HID. did you car come in the mail yet?

yea he is going to get one off ebay his is no good but we are going to be fixing the car to sell it because he lives in Cali now and dose not want to bother bringing it over there.. It need a tranny a gauge cluster and some electrical work.. If it was an auto i would just buy it from him as a daily beater. so he wants the millage to be right..
