Default Garret GT28rs turbo site prt 2

www.ctsturbo.com/amsoil.php this is the site i found the turbo at and it seems cheap for all the turbos. which one will be nice for my car?

you cant just buy a turbo and slap it on . you need other parts too.

go to rennart.com and buy a kit from there.

except exaust and a fmic and few other things like clutch that can hold the power and brakes and suspension .

but other than that pretty much everything else is covered.

Well Besides the turbo u need alot of parts to install it.

This is what i got from k0mpressed over at AZ who had a t3/t4 turbo.
price break down since i was asked:
*keep in mind all this is from memory so some of it may be a little off*

-garrett 57 trim .60 a/r compressor, .63 a/r turbine, 4 bolt discharge
$585/shipped

-4 bolt discharge > 3" vband
$70

-atp manifold
-atp 3" vband downpipe
-atp oil feed line
$800

-custom 2.5" fmic
$350

-upsolute software/ecu programming
i know a guy thats an UP dealer..i got a deal

-bosch 440cc green tops
$200/shipped

-tyrolsport adj fpr
$100/shipped (not quite sure on this one)

-custom 10an oil return
$120..i had parts left over..so i used maybe $80 worth of parts

-bypassed both n249's
-bypassed n75
$10 worth of vacuum line

-mbc
$10 ebay special

-clamped iat
free...someone gave me the 4.7v diode

-forge bov
$60

-maf unplugged
$free

-removed sec air pump
-plugged combi valve
$free

-wideband o2
$300

-vdo boost gauge/column pod
$60

-v&s shifter
$125

-fuel pressure gauge
$35

-clutch
$470/shipped


thats probably most of what you'll need minus some odds and ends.

Now save your self some time and trouble and just buy a kit. Or if you do piece it all together let us know how it works out.
I myself plan on gettin one of the 2871r elim kits.

For the love of god, please stop repeating posts asking the same question.

If you get one of the turbos from that site, you will have to get an aftermarket manifold, custom made downpipe, custom oil and coolant lines, custom intercooler piping, and custom tuning. They are not bolt in turbos for Audis.

There's a reason why everyone says to go to the Renn-Art site and buy a kit. It comes with everything you need and they have great support. If you don't believe me, ask Arif all about it.
