Fuse is Radio
Hey Everybody,
My radio is dead. A guy suggested I check the fuse inside the radio (in addition to the fuse in the panel, which I already did). Anyone know more about this? Also, having never removed the radio, how do I pop it out using the slits in the front? Replacing the radio, any suggestions? I know its a lotta questions. Thanks.

RE: Fuse is Radio
You need a radio removal key. these can be bougt on ebay for about 5 bucks. there should be a secondary fuse in the power line to the radio, but I haven't removed mine, just speaking with past experience on other cars.

RE: Fuse is Radio
there's the fuse on the side panel, and there is a 7.5A fuse on the back of the radio inline w/ the power. i had the same problem, turns out my headunit was burned out. Just go to your local car audio shop and they'll pull the headunit out for ya for free if they think you might in return buy something from them. but anyways, those are the only two fuses i know of, if you find anymore out keep it posted.
