Default full gas

my display reads correctly, but my gas guage with the needle was reading 1/4 tank more than it should for a while and as of recently it just stays pegged at full. any thoughts?

here is a pic of it before it pegged at full. notice it indicates less than 1/4 tank empty, but the display (which reads correctly) says 155 miles left.

sounds like the float for the fuel gauge is stuck...not sure where you access it...possibly under this panel here

Definitely fuel sender. If it's still under warranty, get Audi to do it. It will take them 30 minutes to R&R.
