Default fuel noise (high pitch)

hi i recent just installed a fuel filter on my audi a4 Q, some how a day later i hear this high pitch noise coming from the rear end of the car? it sounds like it's something to do with the fuel lines or ??? I notice i did kink the fuel feed line alittle bit, but i already replace all the fuel line near the fuel filter. It somtimes comes on and later go away.. and somtime it stays one for quite a while. Please help!!! my email: yaj_jauni@hotmail.com i will be really appreciated Thanks!!!

Its your fuel pump making that noise, especially if its only doing it upon start up and goes away.
Double check to see if you got the fuel filter on right also.

gas needle problem is common. search for erratic fuel guage or just go to the DIY section and u'll find it immediately.

Thanks for the advice on the needle! but on my noise in the fuel pump humming, can it be the fuel filter that is causing that noise? or is it just the fuel filter going out? pinching the gas line once or twice the noise goes away but when shut engine off and turn on the noise high whistle or pitch comes back on and of and on......so tired of hearing that. please help again! THANKS MUCH!!!!

Thats what the fuel pump does when the filter is clogged it whines or whistles. If you have already replaced the fuel filter replace the fuel pump.

u think the whining noise is annoying? i get squeaking noise all over my car when i drive. i can't turn the music up to cover it cuz ma rear speakers are pretty close to blowing lol. life sux. well wut if u tried starting the car with the fuel line pinched? u kno have sum1 start the car or sm? if it doesn't make the sound, then just keep it pinch with a hose clamp or sm. better than replacing the whole pump right?

Would you run your engine without an airfilter to see how it would run?
I wouldn't do it if i were you.
