Ok, so when I left work last night, I had 1/4 of a tank left and I know for a fact that was right. Well when I was about halfway home, I looked at my fuel gauge and it said that I had 3/4 of tank. Which, obviously, could not be right. I didnt know what was going on so I filled up so that I wouldnt run out of gas until I got it looked at. After I filled it up, I continued my drive home. As I was driving, I noticed that my gauge did not move and was still at 3/4 of a tank. It was infact, full. So obviously, something is messed up. Any suggestions?

Sounds about like mine. It never shows full when its full. Its more like 3/4 and a smidgen. Im just used to it. ButI usually fill upp before the low fuel warning comes on. And, its more accurate in the lower half of the guauge, I.E when I have less than half a tank.
The mileage I am getting is accurate, as far as how far I go on a full tank, so it really doesnt concern me.
Probably need to replace the sending unit, Im not sure where it is located.

comon problem...it's a bad ground connection....there's a diy to remove and fix it
