i have full coverage, 17, and a pt and i think its 1600/ yr, i dont pay per month so i think i get a discount for doing a lump sum.

 

I doubt you'll see anything on Ebay... What these guys do, is find individuals who claim anything off particular cars, before anything is stolen. Then they go shopping, find what they need, and take it. You rarely ever see your parts on the market of any kind. This happens in the Honda game FARRRR too often. Which is why my Hondas always have kill switches on the Fuel System, Battery, Injectors, not to mention I remove the ECU Fuse every time I park it. If I park in a real shady spot (Almost never, I mostly do this when I park it for more than a night) I take off my steering wheel and take it with me, and remove my ECU and take it with me... Of course it's a pain, but it keeps my car mine.

About a year ago when I had my '94 Honda Civic Coupe, there was a rash of Hondas getting stolen from peoples houses in the middle of the night... I took my preventative measures, and for fun, I made a series of notches that I could retro fit razor blades into on the door handles, just in case someone decided to try and steal my baby, they would regret their decision immediately after... This actually back fired when I stumpled out to my car one morning, half asleep, and forgot about my little trap. [:@]

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about the car man...

 

comprehension: covers if your **** gets stolen
liability: covers when someone hits you, or an uninsured motorist
Collision: covers your car when you hit someone

i saw a post earlier about someone asking about the difference?

the price difference, for me at least is 130 a month liability, 200 a month liability and comprehension, and full coverage is like 350 or some ****.

 

This is one time i don't mind being a little older and married. Insurance is cheap. We pay $180 a month for full coverage on the Audi, Jeep, Old, Motorcycle and the boat. Before i got married, i was paying over $300 a month for full coverage on a Jeep alone!
