Default Frog under my bonnet or what is it?

Hi everyone,

I´m an A4 1.8T 2001 B6 owner from up north Sweden. I have a really strange noise from my engine.
It´s like an "burr" sound coming from the engine while in gear driving, quit like a frog :-)
The "burr-sounds" comes regular about every 15-20seconds while I'm driving. It happens from approx 1200rpm to 2500rpm, no matter what gear I'm using. The sound might be in the higher revs as well but it's kind a hard to hear.
I have only heard it when the engine is 90 degress warm and only with gear, never on idle. I had this strange sound for 8months and it has not got worse.

But if I rev my car up on idle to around 2000rpm I sometimes can hear a slight rattling/vibrating noise, but not very loud at all.
Are these two sound connected? I´ve read alot about the cam chain tensioner but my car: [ul][*]Doesen't sound like an diesel[/ul][ul][*]At idle 900rpm everything sounds normal[/ul][ul][*]No rattling around 1100rpm (which many other people with chain tensioner problem says they have)[*]Sound like an frog doing "burr" for 0.5 sec every 15-20 sec while driving. :-)[/ul]
Please help me, my swedish audi forum is down and I would really need know what this sound is. Any ideas are much appreciated.
Best Regards.

it could be the DV ( dump valve )

Thanks for the idea! Are the dump valve not in workwhile the car is in idle?
My car is stock, no chip in it and as far as I'm guessinghas an orginal dump..
So you saythat a faulty/worn orginal dump valve could cause this noise too?
