fit a new C/V boot and repack it with lithium grease save even more, don't just wait for the inevitable get it sorted now

temporary boot kits suck, and the time it takes to take the boot off to replace-you might as well do the whole the whole thing. Its not that expensive if you DIY.

I was trying to purchase the drive axles
(for my 98 1.8T automatic)because my right one is making clicking noises when I make left turns. I tried buying the parts online but it asks me for the Chassis range??? How do I know what range my chassis has?

check your vin number is it 200000 and later or 199999 and earlier
