I don't really know the price other places online, but I have heard people on the forum talking about spending $29 on the tool (and the dealership told me $50, haha). Well I found the drain plug tool for manual trannys for $6.44 at

I hope it works well cause 6.44 is a lot better than 29.

 

I got mine for $25 from german auto parts. It had the large hex on it too...
