Forge 007 install
I have a Forge 007 on the way and I'm researching the installation procedure. I have an '03 B6 and the instructions on the Forge site are for a TT. I seem to be finding conflicting information on various sites about:
1) Where the valve actually is
2) If it needs to be installed from the top of the engine compartment or from underneath.
Either way I don't really care I just want to know the right process.
Little help? We were all noobs once...
Cheers,

PS - Does that P.O.S. black plastic cover underneath the car need to stay on?

RE: Forge 007 install
1) The valve is more towards the passengers side, between the airbox and the turbo.. much easier to access from below the car
2) Do it from below the car
PS: No, that fake skid plate can be removed... its pointless. I left mine off
Hope that helped

RE: Forge 007 install
Keep that plate on. It protects the car from debri that might bounce under there and rip stuff off. Also its a good way to know when youre leaking something because it gets collected on it.
Its important not to rip hoses because of rocks flying under there and what not.
The valve is low behind the bumper on the passenger side. Easily done from below.

i never ran that plastic skid plate. seems to just be more plastic on the car. i would only keep it on if you drive in snow but for just dry and wet weather you should be ok with out it

I trust Jeff.. hes da man.. but yeah I guess something could fly under there? Not sure what...
Imo it lets more air under the car to go up to my intake
