Default Forge 007 Install

Hello all,

Does anybody know where, other than Forge Motorsport website(on a TT), I can look to find a DIY write up for a 007 DV on a B6 A4?? Found nothing on this forum and the install is becoming quite the little be-yotch!!

Prost!

What up I jsut installled my forge 007 last week. Everyone makes it sound so easy but its still a pain in the ***. This is for a B5 but almost identical http://awe-tuning.com/media/pdf/Bail...tall_A4_B5.pdf . Dont take your wheel off just jack up the car two jacks better but i only had one and jacked up passenger side. First remove the skid pan underneath the motor, it has about 10 screws around the perimeter to remove it and 2 inside each wheel well.
Once off slide under the car and you will see the DV next th the radiator fan closer to the passenger side. its held in place by 3 crimp clamps. The only real crappy part is to remove the old crimp clamps. They say use tin snips but i couldnt fit them in. I jsut used a flat head crewdriver and primed them lose. I got crimp clamps off both side of the DV but I cut the vacuum line hose on ttop on the DV (theres plenty of extra tubing so dont kill yourself with crimp clamp, cut tubing as close as possible) once thats done its cake jsut put new DV in place (put a lil motor oil on new DV hose adaptors to make it easier to slide hoses back on), tighten the adjustable hose clamps and thats all folks..

Hardest part about DV install is taking out the belly pan. Everyone makes it sound so easy because thats the way it is. Ill give you the benefit of the doubt by saying working on an audi isnt like working on a moped.

Mine took me 15min from car on the lift to test drive. Its easy just look at the way the old one came off and put the forge the same way.

I'll admit, on my B6 it was a bit of a pita just beacuse of the location. But once the original clamps had been snipped off everything went pretty smoothly.
