Fog Light oddity -n Stuff - 2.8Q
I've been very much enjoying my "New" 1999' 2.8Q. It only needed break pads in the rear so far since I've had it...
I noticed that the driver side fog light was always on, and I couldn't turn it off. The passenger side bulb was burned out.
As it turns out, the switch on the dash seems non-functional. The repair place in town said it would take 2 hours of labor to figure out what was up (seem right?).. I'll check fuses to see that they're intact..
When getting the breaks done they noticed that the car needs Fuel Injection/Decarbonization svc = $99.95, and Throttle Body Cleaning $97.50, and replace vacuum lines $10.00. - Does this sound legit in terms of pricing? (they did inform me that this work should be done, but not urgent). There was a "check engine" light that prompted this investigation work. Initially It was tought that the gas cap wasn't tight enough as there are sensors for that too.. Is this someone talkin' Smack?
