RE: INSTALLING FMIC AND HAVING PROBLEMS!
UHHHHHH... What a long day... AND IT'S STILL NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING DONE!!!!
So day 2... I went up to another friends house who had a welder and we welded 3 ,1.2 inch beads on the ends of each pipe. This has worked well and the pipes have not come apart yet even under full boost. I hit 100mph WOT and didn't have one pop off. After that I had to go back up to another friends (the one with the lift) to start working on my bumper... Let me say that this has been the BIGGEST pain in the A ever!!! I spent a good 5 hours cutting the bumper JUST on the drivers side and it still won't fit right on that side yet. I have been using a gay little dremel with a cutting disc and it just takes forever to cut that medal crash bar. That bar is freaking thick!!! So after getting pissed off a few times I called it a night, loaded all my crap up in the back of my car (including the bumper) and went back to my house. I am going to try and get it done in the next few days now. I have to work all this week and probably won't be getting off till around 8:30 - 9 every night so I will have to just work on it a little every night until it gets finished. Here at my house I have a bigger dremel that will cut through anything like butter so hopefully that helps.
NOW, for the test drive results... Using my Butt Dyno (Someone said that before me and I don't know who. LOL) The car pulls much harder at the lower RPMS then continues to pull hard all the way to redline. I loose about 3 PSI from 3000RPMS to 6500RPMS. Not to bad! However, I am loosing more pressure than I thought overall. I used to be spiking around 20-22PSI but now I am only spiking around 16-17PSI. Should I loose that much? I think there could be a boost leak. I need to check that soon but for now it works great. I am liking it... now I just need to get the bumper on. [:@] I will keep you all posted on what happens.

RE: INSTALLING FMIC AND HAVING PROBLEMS!
if thats the ebay intercooler which it looks to be its a very cheaply and poorly made one. its tube and fin unlike the other bar and plate ebay coolers. its also very prone to cracking and showss big boost drops. thats if it is the one im thinking of that they sell on ebay.
