Floppy shifter and wheel compatibility
So I helped my roomate change the rims on his 02, what a pain that was, I hate the way Audi set up the lugs. Like tards we tried to use the USELESS oem floor jack, it sliped in the floor and made a nice dent in the plastic lower door moulding. So we used the one from my Honda [8D].
Anyways to the root of the thread: What is the lug pattern (5x112?) for Audi rims. He doesn't want to bother selling then, so I am. What other cars are they complatible with? They are 18x8.5 Rials.
Also I took his car for a spin and really didn't like how loose it shifted, and when it was in gear, the stick flopped around as if it was in nuetral. Is that normal?

I can never rememeber the bolt pattern but i think its stamped on the rims. At least it usually is. As for the shifter, they are only like that after being abused ie slamed into gear repeatedly. Normally they are pretty tight.
