Default Flash acting weird

So I got my car flashed over the weekend and I noticed that it is acting kind of weird. When I start the car for about the first 10 minutes it is insanely quick. Press on the gas and all you hear is the sound of air under the hood and you are pulled really hard forward. It is awesome. But after about 10 minutes steppingon the gas no longer has this reaction, the car just sounds normal and then seems to just pull like normal. Whats the deal. After sitting for a while, start her up......Rocket. 10 minutes later.......feels stock.

Its normal. The ecu is adapting and youll have inconsistant performance for a few weeks. Mine was the same way.

when it sets itself will it be like when I first start the car or after the 10 minutes because if it stayed at how it is in the beggining that would totally kick azz!!!

Ya exactly. When I got flashed it was a "rocket" right away. Next time i went to drive it, it was great for about 10-15 mins and then felt like stock again and i was worried. It was like this off and on for 2-3 weeks. One day it was consistant and since then its all been good. Except i had intermitenly got a over boost code and i would go into limp mode at high rpms/redline. Since i got my better flowing exhaust i dont have that problem anymore. Doesnt mean this will happen to you, but i highly recomend an aftermarket exhaust like milltek or borla or anything custom that has better flow. Chip and exhaust should go hand in hand imo. have fun.

awesome so it should set to the faster setting!! Man I would love that cuz seriously when I first start this thing up it scares how fast it accelerates and it sounds so damn awesome. I am getting intake and exhaust in about a week and a half. Well atleast exhaust, I am still waiting for evolution motorsports to finish their 1.8t v-flow. it is almost ready but no set date given.

Skip the intake imo. Its not going to do much for you other than sound cool. The stock airbox is more efficient than an intake unless you have a big turbo. The filters on an aftermarket intake are exposed to the high temps right next to the turbo/manifold/cat and even if you have a heat shield its still not as good as a fully enclosed like with the stock airbox. Id recomend doing the air box mod (properly so you dont suck in moisture) and spend your money for that on a test pipe. You did replace the stock DV since you got a chip right?
