finaly got a code

RE: finaly got a code
ECStuning has them for like 20.
Why dont you swap (or test) them first to make sure thats the problem before wasting your money?
You dont need a code to tell if the cylinder is firing or not.
take the coilpack out and plug, leaving the wiring on, and hold it so the plug is near a ground. Have someone else turn the ignition over, and see if it sparks or not. Then swap the packs with another cylinder and try again. If no spark both times, its the ICM rather than the coilpack.
Good luck, shouldn't be too hard to troubleshoot.

RE: finaly got a code
pull the coilpack and plug out on the cylinder you swapped to. Leave the wiring connected.
Ground a screwdriver with rubber handle to the block, and hold the coilpack with the plug in it near the screwdiver shaft, and see if it sparks. (have someone else turn the ignition over)
No spark, replace the coil pack. Just wanting you to make sure its not still cyl. 1 that is misfiring. If it has moved to 2, then you know the Coilpack is bad.
