well i decided to go with upsolute. they are only chargin me 375 shipped for the k04 program and an extra 150 for a custom tune. thing is i need to find someone local to use a vagcom....also a funny thing i found is i have a dahlback dealer within walkin distance from my house. this guy that works there has a RS4 converted avant...its deff sick. im gonna have to check it out this summer and ill take some pics of it. i guess he got a totaled one over in germany and is swappin the engine into. he already has the body converted and other things. i was wondering how he got his fenders like that...explains alot.

well they tod me that yes i can either have a dyno tuned or vag-com tuned. although i was talkin to jest and it seems that there is some missing info about the vag-com bc he thinks its doesnt give engine readouts say like a wideband does. do u know of any device that can give me this? i might have to go to euroauto by me and get one since it will only be 65 bux bc i doubt it will take longer than hour.

Yea you can't get very accurate a/f results with the vag-com
its either block 031 032 or 033, can't remeber which but one of those gives o2 sensor readings in voltages adn then you have to convert them. heres the conversion table for 00 and newer a4's

 

does it give u timing at all? so i should go with a wideband or both?
