Default A few problems with Tranny & engine

I took my car into my mechanic today and he lifted it up with the hoist...well the tranny was leaking in a few places...also the transmission pan was dented...almost looked like someone jacked it up from it....We replaced the tranny filter and hammered out the dent and since there is no place to pour transmission fluid apparently, my mechanic injected the fluid up into the reservoir...I was sh*tting my pants while he was doing this...

Turned out it works ok now...car seems to run ok...although I'm leaking more and more fluid...has anyone had any problems with this?
Also now it seems when I hit the gas, in first and second gear the rpms hang and drop a few hundred around 4000-4500rpm...like it revs and then it kind of pauses, then continues on....anyone have any ideas? I did put a cone intake on and replaced the diverter valve, but that was a few weeks ago and didn't encounter any problems...
Any help/advice would be appreciated...

Sounds like all of your problems stem from the transmission. Fix your leaks and get all the fluid put back in there to the "correct" level. After that have the fault codes checked, i wouldn't be suprised if you have a torque converter fault.

Is there a proper way to re-fill the transmission fluid? My mechanic didn't seem to think so....Audi also said the transmission is "not serviceable"...

Thanks for the quick reply though!

Of course there is a way to service the transmission and there is a correct way to fill it.
The mechanic needs to have access to a VAG COM or VAS scan tool to monitor the transmission temp as he is filling the transmission via gravity feed through the fill port under the car. If the transmission is not at the specified temp it can either be overfull or doesn't have enough.

He hasn't been my mechanic long so I think its time to find a new one that specializes in these cars...I'm new to the Audi as well, but I do appreciate your input...

^^^^^^^^^^ Yeah auto only.
The manual is just a spill and fill, there is a fill port on the side of the tranny.
