female RCA on stock deck
Alright, finished installing 4 new speakers, and amp...but having problems with signal connection. I used a level converter and the F(@*$ wires wont stay in. I want to use female RCA's but i dont understand how. On the rear of the stock deck there are wirings like this:
X X = RR
X X = both common ground
X X = LR
To solder in female rcas, can i just buy female rca cables at radio shack and cut them, then splice into these wires?
From what I have read, there are 4 output wires that must be spliced into 2 rca wires. That means that RR and one common ground wire would go to say the Red RCA, and the LR and other comon ground would go to the white rca. Is this correct? lol im an idiot please explain
