While poking around the board here I wondered if there was a source for a factory service manual and I was directed to Bentley Publishers. This is what I found:

Has anyone here purchased this and could comment on it quality and quanity?

Excelent resource, far superior to Haynes or Chiltons imo

 

Excellent, but not as good as the CD version, which allows searching, has hyperlinks, and is the full Factory manual. Unfortunately, I don't think that Bemtley is making the CD for the B5 anymore, but they sometimes show up on eBay. They use a special eBahn reader and you will need to have the previous owner transfer the license to you which will allow you to read it on one computer.

 

I hope I'm not worng, but I think the link I supplied IS for the CD-ROM...I hope it is still avaliable. Maybe I will call them today and find out.

Bently is a great manual for audi. Please do not ask for copies as that is illegal. Quite being cheap and spend the money.
