I have an 02 A4 Avant Q-Tip and I just got my Crank case breather hose replaced free because it was a factory recall item. I looked at it right before i took it in to be replaced and the hose was totally blown apart. I had never really checked out under the hood much because I was under warranty till 3 weeks ago and i only have 40k on the car. So I also pulled my oil dip stick and my oil was looking really dirty and somwhat black .. and the dealer just did the 40k service about a month ago, I also have black shi* on the inside of my oil cap. So i am wondering if dirt and crap got into my engine because of the crank case breather hose being basically busted wide open. if the hose caused crap in my engine ... I am goin after Audi for a new engine!!!! Well maybe ..... any thoughts? thanks

 

So noboby but me has had this recalled on their 02 A4??? I am strikin out!!

maby i should check this out at the dealer for my next checkup in 14 days... oh and if you do somehow get them to get you a new engine its going to be a reconditioned engine...[&:]
