I am installing a borla exhaust(140100) this week and was wondering if I should get a new exhaust gasket from an audi dealership before... or can I just re use the old one? I looked online but the only one I could find went between the downpipe and cat and mine exhaust system doesnt even come with a dp

Get a new one. Just spend the extra bucks so you dont get an exhaust leak and have to pull the whole thing off

 

isn't a rule of thumb to alway replace a gasket after you take anything of the gasket?
