I highly doubt the kits will be ready for may/june. Plus, id never run a atp kit some something so new, especailly with them tuning it.

 

i have ATP stuff. hardware is pretty good. no problems yet. however, i would NEVER get there tuning. thats the big part. so unless you really want to go with atps shitty mika tuning, i would wait. maybe you can get unitronics to make you a file. i also dont think the kits will be out that soon, but you never know. i would be surprised if they developed something that soon.

 

There is not a thing wrong with Atp parts, they actaully have good stuff. But there tuning and service just sucks.

 

Huh...I sure wouldn't buy it until I learned how they plan to work with the high compression ratio (10.5:1, right?) and the FSI fuel management. 4000 for an APR kit seems really, really cheap.

Watch and wait is the name of the game for this. And you would almost certainly have to get it tuned somewhere else...I dunno. Kinda sketchy.

 

As far as the 4,000 price thats what the sales rep told me for the apr turbo kit was going to be around..... Obviously im saying dont quote me on it or him but im sure he's probably pretty close to it... and like i said as far as the availability of the 2 kits APR said it will ONLY be available to people that atten the April 1 BBQ in Alabama and then will be avail on the internet and to public a few weeks later and ATP said its turbo kis will be avail in or arounf May/June now as far aw performance goes APR is quoting 300 to 450 HP and ATP was quoting around 300 HP but like i said thats what was told to me....
