i saw one on a very nice e36 m3 that said something like MOVE OUT or something like that, but it was backwards so when you looked in your rearview it read normally. it was pretty cool.. i don't think it was move out though.. it was something like "get out of my way"

Do you want authenticity/ something realistic? The first letter for the real plates stand for the city from which it's registered in Germany (B for Berlin, M for Munich, etc). Mine's "IN" for Ingolstadt because at least..that's where it was manufactured.
You could always do that and then pick some random letters/numbers. Mine's IN_M_A430. If I did it again I might've made the last half random letters/numbers instead, but any way you go it'll look good on the front.
Check state laws because there's some discrepency on what's legal...in WA you can have the front german plate as long as you have the state plate too.
