err! I just found a DEEP scratch!
I went to rinse my car off since some dumb bird pooped on my car and found a DEEP scratch that wasn't there before! I am SO mad right now. lol. Anyone have any ideas of what I can do to fix it? I thought of some touch up paint from audi, how much will that run me? Any suggestions on what I can do to repair this?
BTW: I am not pointing to the scratch like you guys are idiots and can't see it. The glare from the sun I thought was going to be in the picture and it would be hard to see

dap a rag in some nail polish remover and run it across the scratch a couple times, then wash area throroughly....
sorry to hear about it, but compared to my scratches, that's nothing...

gosh this makes me SOO mad! I can't stop thinking about how it got there. I know I can't always keep the car perfect, but when I purchased the car I noted where ANY scratch was and this was NOT there. What can I do to get rid of this scratch? let me first say that I don't know how to use power tools and stuff but I can read directions? lol. Is there any product I can buy to fill this scratch in? How much will touch up paint cost?

Touch up paint won't work on that. Its deep into the paint, not just the clearcoat. Keep power tools away from the car and let a pro deal with it. We all know how you feel, just gotta deal with it.

Some meguires scratch-x may help a little, it is abrasive and will at least hide it a little bit. Then a thick coat of wax will help hide it as well.
Heck, thats how I know my car is due to be waxed, the scatches start showing up a lot more than when its nicely waxed.
