RE: Emergency!!!! Need Help
So far, i have made it to a Napa in Rapid City south Dakota... I was able to pick up a 12v test light, tested the bulbs they arent getting any power.. switched out the fuse to see if that was the problem. that wasnt it. So I am sure its the headlight switch. I have managed to make my way up to Montana right now. only 8 more hours of driving till im home to seattle. So I have been sticking to daylight driving, and when I have to drive at night. I have to hold high beams on, and that pisses people off a lot..

hey dude, thats very funny u have this problem and heres why, i have driven accross crountry like 5 times and the first of which i had your exact problem, i quiksolved it by tying my brights back to the light control stalk. but wen i got to cali i went to my dealer and had them check it out. they fixed it for somewhere in the 300-400 dollar range. it ended up being my headlight power control unit or something to that extent. i forget the exact name of it. its the same type of control unit u would have giving power to ur window controls. it sucks but replacing it is the only option. good luck i hope u find this info useful.
